Worldwide, the JFJKDGA has instructors that can conduct seminars or workshops in the combat arts of Larry Hartsell, the man Guro Dan Inosanto, described as the Jeet Kune Do premiere fighter.

What we teach

At the heart of all seminars and workshops run through the JFJKDGA lies the core material developed by Sifu Larry Hartsell during his lifetime. This includes all ranges of combat: Kicking, Boxing, Trapping, Grappling, and Weapons. Larry Hartsell, an original student of the legendary Bruce Lee, spent more than five decades engaged in extensive research, building on and developing the Grappling aspects of Jeet Kune Do, supplementing the Striking and Trapping ranges and bringing Jeet Kune Do to a whole new level. Incorporating elements of Pencak Silat, Shoot Wrestling (Shooto) Japan, Muay Thai, and the Filipino martial arts (Kali / Arnis / Escrima), the overall fighting structure was modified to effectively and efficiently deal with and use grappling attacks when a situation warrants it.

The ideal of Jeet Kune Do is to be “formless, shapeless, like water”. It is the ability to adapt to any fighting situation or arena… to transcend it. Jeet Kune Do is the pursuit of the perfection of self, the development of a holistic fighter, functional, capable and versatile. No limits.
